WHO AM I ?

Hello, my name is Amy and I am incredibly passionate about assisting and empowering children, young individuals, and families by providing them with effective strategies and support for their Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.


Ever since my placement at a local SEND school back in 2005 (18 years ago), I have dedicated myself to working with children and young people who require additional support.


My experience includes working in a SEND school, a SEND nursery, a local SEND dance class, providing respite care for families with children of various ages, coordinating a SEND playscheme, and collaborating with the local authority's Autism Outreach service and SEND early years team.


WHAT I OFFER

  • Ofsted registered childminding service Tuesday-Friday specialising in SEND children 0-5years. (days can/ do change at the start of school term)
  • Wrap around care Tuesday- Friday for Sketchley Hill Menphys nursery (days can/do change at the start of school term)
  • Early years settings and primary school SEND outreach support
  • Family outreach for SEND children and young people
  • Holiday club for SEND children in Leicestershire school holidays.
  • Sensory hair appointment slots with Michelle Jones hair.
  • Low ratios 1:3
  • Full visual support and bespoke visuals created 
  • Sensory being available every session and throughout the day
  • Working with families to embed strategies and support at home
